Job Summary
Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs. Assist providers during procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency-validated clinical tasks, and accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record. Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments. Support daily clinic operations by maintaining exam rooms, equipment, and supplies while assisting with patient calls and portal communications. This Certified Medical Assistant, RMA, or LPN role supports the OB/GYN team at Logan Health, offering flexible PRN coverage during busy periods.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization
- RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before providing independent patient care, whichever comes first
