Job Summary
Medical Office Assistant role supporting podiatry/clinic operations: greet patients, handle registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and billing; perform clinical patient care tasks under supervision of licensed healthcare providers; must have high school diploma or equivalent and completed medical assisting program or relevant patient-care experience; CPR certification required within 1 week of start; CMAA preferred; strong clerical/IT skills and excellent communication essential. Located in Vestal, NY, within United Health Services network; full-time daytime shift with 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or direct patient care experience
- Documentation of current CPR certification within 1 week of start of employment
- Certified medical administrative assistant (CMAA) (preferred)
- Strong clerical background with excellent computer skills
