Medical Assistant - NYU Langone Medical Associates - Patchogue

Assist physicians and nurses in patient care by escorting patients, obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and supporting procedures such as GI exams. Maintain patient flow between exam rooms and treatment areas while ensuring charts are ready for physicians. Clean and sterilize equipment, stock rooms with supplies and linen, and handle light housekeeping including spill cleanup. Manage patient comfort by assisting with food, toileting, and ambulation, and answer telephone inquiries to schedule treatments. Complete patient charges per policy and communicate with physicians for prescription renewals. Train new Medical Assistants and perform administrative duties as assigned.
