Job Summary
Prepare patients for exams and treatments (vitals, medical histories); perform venipuncture, EKGs, urinalysis, immunizations; maintain clean exam rooms and sterilize equipment; educate patients on medications and preventive care; assist providers with minor procedures and care coordination; manage referrals, test scheduling, patient records, and supply inventory; follow CLIA/OSHA and safety guidelines; collaborate with care team for smooth patient experience. LPN-specific duties include triaging medical questions, monitoring HIT tools, discharge follow-ups, nursing-consultant support, and care planning collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED required
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant preferred OR LPN or GPN (must pass MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation) required
