Job Summary
Deliver team-based care in a fast-paced primary care clinic as a Medical Assistant or LPN Nurse. Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams (vitals, medical histories), performing venipuncture, EKGs, urinalysis, and immunizations; maintaining clean, well-stocked exam rooms; educating patients on medications and preventive health; assisting providers with minor procedures and physicals; managing referrals, test scheduling, patient records, and inventory; adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, OSHA); collaborating with the care team for a smooth patient experience. Additional responsibilities for LPNs include triage of medical questions, monitoring HIT tools, hospital discharge follow-ups, and acting as a nursing consultant to the team.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED required
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant preferred
- Practical Nursing certificate required, if Nurse LPN
- LPN or GPN (must pass MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation) required
