Job Summary
Assign and assist with patient preparation and rooming. Obtain medication prior authorizations, notify patients of normal test results, and keep exam rooms clean and stocked. Clean and sterilize equipment as needed. Handle a busy office with interruptions, calls, and walk-ins while maintaining excellent attention to detail and organization. Proficient computer skills required for practice management software. Consistent schedule with no weekend hours. Required Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills including ability to master the clinic's practice management software
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population
- Ability to handle a busy office with interruptions, calls, and walk-ins
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Completed an accredited formal Medical Assisting program preferred
