Job Summary
Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients. Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the medical office setting by performing a variety of patient care duties within a multidisciplinary team structure as delegated. Specific duties and responsibilities are assigned based on competency established by supervising physicians, clinical staff, and the Practice Coordinator. One year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification are required. Visual color acuity screening is required depending on the specific unit. Schedule includes Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM and Friday from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units
- Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM): Mon - Thur 745 - 515, Fri 745-1215
