Job Summary
Medical Assistant provides high quality, direct patient care in a team-based BIDHC setting and supports efficient administrative and clinical operations. Responsibilities include assisting during visits, updating patient information, obtaining vital signs, performing EKGs and point-of-care testing, phlebotomy and immunizations (for MA graduates), leading population health outreach and coaching, maintaining sterile equipment, using the EHR to queue renewals and orders, scheduling tests, verifying insurance and pre-authorizations, and ensuring patient safety and PHI protection. The role requires excellent communication, coordination with the care team, and adherence to OSHA and data privacy standards. Preferred qualifications include related healthcare training or licenses.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 6 months clinical classroom
