Job Summary
Medical Assistant supporting a Primary Care clinical team to deliver high-quality, safe care. Responsibilities include taking patient vital signs, documenting medical history in the EMR, and providing patients and families with medical information to enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency. Works with healthcare providers on daily needs and schedules to ensure timely patient care, fulfilling essential duties and contributing to a collaborative care environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant program OR Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA) OR Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Medical Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer skills
- Multitasking
- Organizational skills
