Medical Assistant-Non-Certified

Support physicians and clinical staff by performing delegated duties under their direction. Interview patients, measure vital signs including pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and record information on charts. Prepare treatment rooms for examinations and maintain medical records while ensuring confidentiality. Perform technical skills such as EKGs, injections, venipuncture, and common lab tests according to CLIA guidelines and hospital policies. Maintain cleanliness of exam rooms and supply areas, disposing of contaminated equipment in accordance with infection control guidelines. Demonstrate strong communication skills and notify team members of abnormal results or emergent situations. Full-time day schedule with competitive shift differentials.
