Job Summary
Conduct patient rooming, update medical histories, and document visit details while assisting with dermatological procedures such as biopsies, surgeries, and skin treatments. Manage an average patient volume of up to 40 daily by administering local anesthesia, removing sutures, and performing ED&Cs, laser treatments, and excisions. Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols while operating specialized equipment like Narrowband UVB units and maintaining liquid nitrogen containers. Process prescription refills, manage prior authorizations, log pathology samples, and perform scribing responsibilities including inputting chart notes. Clean and stock examination rooms, coordinate with laboratories, and maintain reliable attendance. Monday through Thursday, 10 hours daily at $22–23 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–3 years of medical assistant experience
