Job Summary
Obtain vital signs, administer injections, and perform medication administration under the delegation of a licensed practitioner. Assist in providing patient care to assigned patients by performing all aspects of the Associate Medical Assistant role with full competence in clinical needs. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulations while maintaining BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Requires six months of healthcare experience and two years of medical training or armed forces service. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
- Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
- Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
- Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 6 months of Healthcare experience
- 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
