Job Summary
Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) in a nephrology clinic responsible for organizing patient flow, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with exams, performing specimen collection including venipuncture, and administering medications per Washington State regulations. Also handles clerical duties such as processing medical records and referrals, prepares forms, and communicates instructions to patients and families. Works under supervision of a licensed practitioner and collaborates with front office staff, nurses, and other team members to ensure safe, efficient patient care; requires MA-C certification, BLS, and at least one year of healthcare experience.
