Medical Assistant-Nephrology Full Time Days

Medical Assistant-Nephrology, full-time days (40 hours/week) at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest campus. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. The Medical Assistant supports physicians and nurses, facilitates efficient patient flow, and assists with procedures (ECG, venipuncture, immunizations, setup of procedure trays, CLIA-waived testing). Duties include preparing exam rooms, stocking supplies, maintaining patient confidentiality, and communicating with the care team to promote patient satisfaction. Requires high school diploma or GED, current MA certification (or eligibility within six months) from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, or NAHP, BLS/CPR, and 0–2 years of relevant experience; preferred credentials include completion of an accredited MA program and EMR experience.
