Job Summary
Manage patient flow throughout office visits by rooming patients, collecting preliminary information, and testing samples. Maintain patient records, communicate regarding basic procedures, and assist in examinations while working directly with primary and behavioral health providers. Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment using electronic medical records and Microsoft Office. This role involves four 10-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday at NEPA Community Health Care in Hallstead. Candidates must hold an active certification and graduate from an accredited program. No nights, weekends, or holidays are scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate, accredited Medical Assisting program
- Active certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience working with electronic medical records
- Ability to travel between health centers as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in outpatient medical setting
- Experience and comfortability with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity working in primary care and behavioral health
