Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed for Spokane and Edmond WA. Prepare patients for exams (vital signs, medical history, etc.). Assist doctors and nurses with procedures (EKGs, injections, phlebotomy). Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR). Educate patients on treatments, medications, and aftercare instructions. Handle administrative tasks (scheduling, insurance verification, referrals). Keep exam rooms stocked, sanitized, and organized. Float to sister concerns depending on need.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active WA State Medical Assistant License
- BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with EHR (Epic preferred) is a plus!
