Job Summary
Medical Assistant NCT works under the physician’s direction with clinical coordinator/office manager support, providing routine clinical care, patient education, and documentation in the patient health record. Responsibilities include taking patient history and vitals, administering injections (intramuscular, intradermal, subcutaneous) with proper documentation, assisting physicians and other MAs with nursing care, infection control, instrument sterilization/autoclave QA, performing X-rays and PFT, processing FMLA forms and related documents, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires 1-3 years healthcare experience, a current approved MA credential or credential within 90 days of hire, and a current NCT permit through the Texas Medical Board.
