Job Summary
Medical Assistant – NCT or Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) provides patient care and supports imaging services. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examination, updating medical records, preparing and sterilizing rooms, assisting with injections and wound care, collecting lab specimens, handling phlebotomy, documenting care in EMR, scheduling tests and follow-ups, instructing patients on treatment, and collaborating with the provider to ensure seamless patient care. Requires operation of radiologic equipment to perform standard x-ray examinations with proper technique, shielding protocols, and image evaluation for density, contrast, and distortion; use of CR/DR systems; and performing opening/closing clinic duties and call-backs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Limited Radiologic Technology Program or NCT Program
- Current state LMRT license or appropriate spine/extremities/chest modules license
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Experience in Medical Assistant, NC-T or Limited Radiologic Technologist preferred
