Medical Assistant

Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure comfort, safety, and personal needs for patients. Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the medical office setting while performing a variety of patient care duties within a multidisciplinary team structure. Specific responsibilities are assigned by supervising physicians, clinical staff, and the Practice Coordinator after competency is established. This role requires one year of healthcare experience and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
