Job Summary
Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure comfort, safety, and personal needs for patients. Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the medical office setting by performing a variety of patient care duties within the multidisciplinary team structure as delegated. Specific duties are assigned by the supervising physician, clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator after competency is established. Requires one year of healthcare experience and American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM, and Friday from 7:45 AM to 12:15 PM. Visual color acuity screening is required depending on the specific unit.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units
- Work Hours: Mon - Thur 745 - 515, Fri 745-1215
