Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant provides direct patient care and provider support within a primary care team. Responsibilities include pre-visit chart scrubbing, rooming patients (in person or remote for MA II/III), medication reconciliation, preparing and administering vaccines, assisting with clinical procedures, conducting in-office tests (EKG, phlebotomy, hearing/vision testing), maintaining patient records and exam rooms, coordinating care with ancillary staff, scheduling appointments, and delivering care within HRSA-defined service locations. Strong communication, EMR/Epic experience preferred, and completion of MA certification within twelve months of hire. Morning-to-evening clinic operations and patient-centered clinical support are expected at Mosaic Community Health in Prineville, OR.
