Medical Assistant- MMF OB/GYN

The Medical Assistant supports providers and staff in outpatient clinics by preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, dispensing medications, following up on lab results, handling referrals, processing patient callbacks, ordering medical supplies, and cleaning/ sterilizing exam rooms. The role includes patient education, accurate clinical documentation in the EMR, verifying insurance eligibility and obtaining authorizations, and occasionally floating to other Marshall Medical Clinics as needed to support operations. Strong interpersonal communication, organizational skills, and teamwork are essential; the position contributes to Marshall Medical Center’s mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
