Job Summary
Room patients, obtain vital signs, and support physicians during in-office procedures and treatments. Prepare exam rooms for daily clinic flow, assist with patient intake and triage, and document information accurately within the EMR system. Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure instructions while maintaining clinical inventory and ensuring seamless clinic operations. Review daily schedules and patient charts prior to appointments to optimize provider workflow.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to manage patient concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment
- Ability to multitask and support multiple providers and patients throughout the day
- Experience using EMR systems and healthcare technology platforms
- Team-oriented attitude with a proactive and flexible approach to clinic needs
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
- Frequent use of computers, clinical equipment, and EMR systems
Desired Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or formal Medical Assistant training
- CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent certifications
- Understanding of medical terminology, patient intake, vitals, and clinical workflows
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinic, specialty practice, urgent care, surgical, vascular, cosmetic, or procedural setting
- Bilingual skills
