Job Summary
Medical Assistant for Memorial Medical Group in General Surgery, Full-Time, with up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Clinical duties include assisting with exams/procedures, injections, EKGs, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, charting, vital signs, sterilization, and minor surgery prep. Responsibilities span administrative and clerical tasks: EMR usage, prior authorizations, patient flow, insurance eligibility, scheduling surgeries, and managing records. Skills include infection control, venipuncture, phlebotomy, specimen handling, and adherence to quality control. Requires completion of a post-secondary Medical Assistant program or relevant physician-office experience; certifications (AAMA, RMA, NCMA) are preferred.
