Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed for urgent and primary care clinic. Responsibilities include performing imaging, X-rays, ECGs, obtaining medical history and vital signs, preparing and administering medications as directed by provider, splinting of extremity injuries, inventory management of supplies and equipment, explaining treatment procedures and provider instructions to patients, and supporting both front and back office duties in a high-volume setting. Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends. At least one year of experience in a physician office or hospital setting is preferred. Requires comfort with electronic medical records and clinical terminology.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a physician office or hospital setting preferred
- Urgent care or ER experience a plus
- High volume practice experience beneficial
