Job Summary
Conduct hands-on clinical duties alongside a Nurse Practitioner for Primary Care, Acute Care, and Occupational Health services. Manage advanced administrative responsibilities including patient scheduling and documentation in the EMR system, with Athena preferred. Perform required phlebotomy procedures and maintain CPR certification. Prioritize and multi-task with strong attention to detail while communicating effectively with patients and the team. This Certified Medical Assistant role requires 1+ years of experience in Primary Care and/or Occupational Health, with a schedule of Monday and Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Tuesday through Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm, subject to daily patient volume adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Phlebotomy experience
- Certified Medical Assistant: 1+ years
- Phlebotomy: 1+ years
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- CPR certified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EMR (Athena preferred, but will train)
- Preferred experience in Primary Care
- Preferred experience in Occupational Health
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
