Job Summary
Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patient histories. Prepare equipment and examination rooms, clean instruments, and manage inventory of medical supplies. Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams while performing data entry. Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly with patients and external parties in a courteous manner. This OB Gyn practice role requires an accredited medical assistant certification, OB Gyn experience, and familiarity with Athena software. Pay is based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times
- Must be detailed oriented and organized
- A firm grasp of medical practices, and organizational policies
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program is preferred
- OB Gyn experience preferred
- Athena experience preferred
