Job Summary
Conduct clinical and administrative functions for a multidisciplinary team, including rooming patients, obtaining vitals, gathering medical history, and documenting initial intake. Prepare exam rooms and sterile fields, administer injections and vaccinations, and perform tests such as EKGs, oximetry, and spirometry. Manage inventory, clean rooms daily, and handle prescription refills and test result notifications. Perform office phone medical triage, screen patients for depression using the PHQ-9 tool, and participate in team huddles and pre-visit planning. Assist in orienting new team members and support the call center during high-volume periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months or greater working in a clinical setting
- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program or Current LPN License
- Must be able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality care
- Participation in clinic quality measures is mandatory
