Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms, ensure thorough cleaning and stocking, and review prior medical information while gathering updated health data. Perform clinical tasks including vitals, blood draws, injections, wound care, and administering medications or immunizations per provider orders. Manage front desk operations such as patient scheduling, medical record abstraction, check-in/out coordination, and processing test results. Partner with the care team to develop individualized patient plans and maintain clinical supplies. Requires minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience, MA certification, and CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration
- CPR/BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy experience
- MA certification or registration in States where certification/registration is required
