Job Summary
Escort patients to exam rooms, ensure thorough cleaning and stocking, and review medical information to inform the provider. Take vitals, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations per written orders, and process test results for patient delivery. Handle front desk duties including scheduling, record abstraction, documentation, check-in/out, and coordinating specialist referrals. Maintain clinical supplies and equipment while partnering with the care team to develop individual patient plans of care. Requires minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience, MA certification, and CPR/BLS certification. Pay range is $23.00-27.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program
- MA certification or registration
- CPR/BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration (where not required by law)
- Phlebotomy experience
- Experience in Primary Care
