Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed at Mansfield Clinic to perform administrative and clinical duties under physician supervision. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, medical histories, preparing patients for tests and examinations, assisting physicians during exams, patient education on procedures, sterilizing instruments, sutures removal, processing prescriptions, preparing patients for X-rays, administering medications, transcribing treatment notes, and traveling to regional clinics as needed. Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, MA certification or accredited program (preferred), at least one year of clinical MA experience, strong EMR skills, excellent customer service, and bilingual English/Spanish ability. Must be a team player able to collaborate with providers and care team members.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or diploma from an accredited school is highly preferred
- Minimum of one year experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic, physician practice or urgent care setting
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
