Job Summary
Medical Assistant needed for a Health Screening Event in Manheim, PA. Responsibilities include taking vitals, measuring height/weight/BMI, performing blood draws, urine collection, and drug testing; assist physicians or other providers with clinical procedures; coordinate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care; requires full vaccination. Physical demands include moving and lifting patients, standing or sitting for extended periods, and potential lifting up to 100 pounds. Working conditions may involve exposure to communicable diseases and clinical environment; computer use and potential autoclave sterilization may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office / clinic or hospital setting, or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Record of prior stable employment and / or favorable references.
- Strong experience with urine collection and drug testing.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with at least one year of recent experience as a medical assistant.
- Current certification as a medical assistant.
- Current CPR / BLS certification.
