Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant for MACT Health Board’s clinical setting (Full Time, Mon-Fri 8-5). Responsibilities include assisting and supporting the Medical Department staff, providing patient care during visits, performing intake actions (vital signs, weight, BP, pulse, temperature), escorting patients to exam rooms, assisting with exams and procedures, conducting lab tests and phlebotomy as trained, maintaining and stocking equipment and supplies, assisting with prior authorizations and immunization tracking, and supporting front/back office workflows. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, current Medical Assistant licensure, and ability to pass Occupational Health Screening; BLS/ALS certification preferred. The role emphasizes culturally competent care with American Indian preference in accordance with applicable laws.
