Medical Assistant (MA) - Virtua Reconstructive Orthopedics - Full Time

Prepare patients for exams by obtaining and documenting vital signs, past medical history, chief complaints, and social history. Perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and diagnostic tests such as EKG and pulmonary function under physician supervision. Manage patient flow by screening calls, contacting patients regarding prescriptions and results, and preparing exam rooms. Maintain par levels of clinical supplies, perform daily regulatory testing for equipment compliance, and execute front desk duties like patient registration, billing, and scheduling. Requires current Medical Assistant certification, BLS certification, and a graduate from an accredited MA program. Full-time role with 40 weekly hours at Somers Point.
