Medical Assistant (MA)

Job Summary
Room patients, obtain vital signs, and perform venipuncture, fingersticks, and injections with minimal discomfort. Prepare exam rooms, process and store patient samples per clinic protocols, and conduct on-site laboratory tests. Document treatment and test results accurately, perform equipment maintenance and calibration, and manage inventory and supplies. Notify the clinic director of unusual results and maintain patient confidentiality. Ensure infection control, safety compliance, and clinic cleanliness. Provide office support including receptionist relief. Requires BLS certification and previous phlebotomy experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution
- Previous medical assistant and phlebotomy experience
- BLS Certification
