Job Summary
Provide general nursing care as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document care in the electronic health record, educate patients, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain infection control and safety protocols, participate in QA/QAPI initiatives, and support development and implementation of individualized patient and family education plans. Communicate clinical information professionally with the healthcare team and assist in managing patient care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Medical Assistant (MA) program with State Certification
- 3–6 months of related clinical experience preferred
