Job Summary
Support the patient and provider throughout the visit by ensuring both are prepared and that patient questions are answered prior to departure. Provide excellent patient service through effective communication over the phone and in person while completing appropriate documentation, including patient registration if necessary. Maintain required clinical knowledge and technical skills through personal professional development and adapt behavior to the specific patient population. Handle other duties as assigned effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with and maintaining confidential information
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information
- Proficiency with Windows-style applications and keyboard
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects
- Ability to occasionally exert up to 100 pounds of force
- Residence in an eligible location (not Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, Washington D.C.)
