Medical Assistant - MA - Orthopedics Urgent Care

Support patients and providers in an outpatient clinical setting by performing basic direct patient care activities, including taking vital signs, assisting with ambulation, and preparing for minor procedures. Obtain and document patient information using electronic medical records, collect lab specimens, and complete associated paperwork. Reinforce patient instructions to enhance adherence to treatment plans and report any patient safety incidents or concerns immediately to the supervisor. Maintain a clean, organized environment by cleaning equipment, preparing exam rooms, and managing inventory of supplies and medications. Accompany care team members during examinations and provide onsite service recovery as delegated.
