Medical Assistant - MA - Orthopedics

Support patients and providers within the outpatient setting by performing basic direct patient care activities, including taking vital signs, assisting with ambulation, and preparing for minor procedures. Obtain and document patient information using the electronic medical record, collect lab specimens, and complete medication reviews. Reinforce patient instructions to enhance adherence to treatment plans and report safety incidents or concerns immediately to the supervisor. Maintain a clean, organized environment by disinfecting equipment, preparing exam rooms, and managing inventory of supplies and medications. Works full-time, 40 hours per week in a clinical environment with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
