Job Summary
Medical Assistant (MA) for Orthopedic Care provides administrative and clinical support to the orthopedic team, including patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, basic clinical procedures, coordinating patient flow, maintaining medical records, and delivering a positive patient experience. Requires an accredited Medical Assistant program; MA certification/registration is preferred and must be obtained within one year of hire. Familiarity with EHR documentation, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers is expected.
