Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN - Pediatric Clinic

Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a pediatric clinic in Menomonee Falls, WI. The role entails preparing patients for exams, recording vital signs and health information, performing lab procedures (e.g., strep tests, wound cultures), assisting physicians/APPs with procedures (including pelvic exams, allergy testing, EMG, colposcopy), administering routine medications under orders or standing protocols (including immunizations), coordinating referrals and appointment changes, communicating with patients and health care team, and performing additional clinical support tasks or skills as assigned. Requires LPN license or MA program completion with BLS certification; GED/HS equivalency for MA track, or equivalent education as applicable. Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development across ages, and ability to work within the department’s policies; physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 35 pounds and operating necessary equipment. The position is full-time with a 40-hour schedule (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm, no weekends or holidays) in a pediatric department; compensation ranges vary by credential (MA vs LPN) and experience.
