Job Summary
Assist patients and youth with activities of daily living and provide nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Perform and document rounds, obtain diagnostic specimens, and prepare documentation for transfers or specialty appointments. Complete all required care documentation, provide written or oral reports, and record entries in log books. Clean, maintain, and check equipment while checking inventory and ordering supplies. Must hold state certification from AAMA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI, plus BLS certification and one year of MA experience. Weekly pay and healthcare benefits through Nightingale's List are provided.
Required Qualifications
- State certification by one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA), or Multiskilled Medical Certification Institute (MMCI)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- One or more years of MA experience
