Job Summary
Conduct daily patient care and administrative duties within a correctional facility setting. Maintain state certification through AAMA, AMT, CCBMA, MMCI, or AMCA, and hold a current BLS card from AHA. Complete orientation within 3-4 weeks and begin work immediately. This role offers eligibility for state employment, direct deposit, and 100% paid healthcare benefits through Nightingale's List. Candidates may transition from temporary to permanent status.
Required Qualifications
- State certification by one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA), Multiskilled Medical Certification Institute (MMCI), or American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
- One or more years of MA experience
- BLS card through AHA
