Job Summary
Assist patients and youth with activities of daily living and provide nursing care under a Registered Nurse's direction. Perform and document rounds, obtain diagnostic specimens, and prepare documentation for transfers or specialty appointments. Complete all required care documentation, provide written or oral reports, and record entries in log books. Clean, maintain, and check equipment while managing inventory and ordering supplies. State certification via AAMA, AMT, AMCA, CCBMA, or MMCI is required, along with BLS certification and one or more years of MA experience. Weekly pay and healthcare benefits through Nightingale's List are provided, with eligibility for state benefits and potential temp-to-perm transition.
Required Qualifications
- State certification by one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA), or Multiskilled Medical Certification Institute (MMCI)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- One or more years of MA experience
