Job Summary
Assist patients and youth with activities of daily living and provide nursing care under a Registered Nurse's direction. Perform and document patient rounds, report condition changes, and obtain specimens for diagnostic testing. Prepare documentation for transfers and specialty appointments, while completing all required care logs and equipment maintenance. Check inventory, order supplies, and maintain facility logs. Requires state certification by AAMA, AMT, CCBMA, or MMCI, plus BLS certification and one year of experience. Weekly pay with direct deposit and 100% paid medical benefits. Eligible for temp-to-perm transition.
Required Qualifications
- State certification by one of the following: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistants (CCBMA), or Multiskilled Medical Certification Institute (MMCI)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- One or more years of MA experience
