Job Summary
Collect patient data including vital signs, temperature, blood pressure, respirations, pulse, and electrocardiograms. Perform clinical tasks such as venipuncture/phlebotomy per CLIA regulations and administer intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections including immunizations. Communicate patient and significant other needs to the multidisciplinary health care team under the direct authority of a supervising physician. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:30 at Witham Health Services in Lebanon and Frankfort, IN. A graduate from a medical assistant program with current certification is required, though training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from a medical assistants program
- Hold a valid diploma or current certification to practice as a medical assistant
