Job Summary
Medical Assistant role at GCBHS in Cincinnati, OH. Provide supportive services for medical and behavioral health clients under the prescriber, including taking vital signs, point-of-care labs, vaccinations, and EHR documentation. Greet and escort clients, ensure proper clinic flow, coordinate information with behavioral health providers, prepare reports and labs for providers, maintain a safe, clean exam-room environment, and manage telephone messages. Must have CMA certification and/or graduate of an accredited associate degree program; experience in behavioral health and primary care preferred. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday with possible evening and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current MA certification (CMA) and/or graduate of an accredited associate degree program
- Experience working in behavioral health and primary care preferred
- This position will work Monday-Friday during regular business hours but may require some evening and weekend shifts
