Job Summary
Medical Assistant (MA) on the Outpatient Resource Team in Boulder, CO. Full-time, 40 hours/week with 8-hour day shifts Monday–Friday and rotating Saturday mornings. Based at the Broadway clinic with required travel to Boulder County sites (Boulder, Louisville, Longmont, Erie). Responsibilities include clinic administrative duties (checking in/out patients, updating information, scheduling), obtaining patient medical history and vital signs, preparing examination rooms, documenting encounters in the EMR, and assisting with medical examinations across multiple specialties. Must be able to travel to multiple sites, maintain patient confidentiality, and support multiple care teams in a dynamic outpatient setting. Education options include completion of Medical Assistant training; certification not required but can be substituted by other health-education credentials. Previous MA clinic experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Completion of Medical Assistant education
- Certification is not required but preferred
- Active/certified substitution acceptable (e.g., EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA)
- Must be able to travel to all four BMC sites as assigned
- Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes
- Experience as Medical Assistant in a clinic setting preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
- Strong patient communication and confidentiality
- Ability to obtain patient medical history, vital signs, and assist with examinations
- Demonstrated professional judgment in patient care
