Job Summary
As a Medical Assistant in Endocrinology, you’ll be a vital member of the ambulatory care team supporting providers, patients, and procedures. You’ll welcome patients, take and record vital signs and medical histories, prepare patients for exams, assist during procedures, administer medications and vaccines as directed, perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing, document care in the electronic health record, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care. Location: Park Ridge, IL; Schedule to total 40 hours per week across Mon-Fri with varied start/end times.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited or approved Medical Assistant program
- 2 years of verifiable full-time Medical Assistant experience within the last 5 years OR being a certified Medical Assistant with 2 years of experience
