Job Summary
Medical Assistant (MA) in San Diego, CA, providing directed treatment under supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider for patients with complex injuries/illnesses. Travel to patients’ homes for assessments and care, maintain medical records in EMR, ensure adherence to state regulations and DocGo standards, and support culturally sensitive, patient-centered care. Requires CAdriver’s license, 2+ years in-person MA experience in urgent/primary care, phlebotomy, BLS, and optional bilingual English/Spanish. Full-time schedule includes four 10-hour shifts weekly with at least one weekend day; benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification
- Valid CA Driver’s License for at least 2 years
- minimum 2 years of in-person MA experience in Urgent Care/Primary Care or related setting
- Phlebotomy experience
- Active and current American Heart Association BLS
